Recs community guidelines

Recs is for telling friends where to actually go. Keep it honest, keep it kind.

Be real. Rate places you have been to. Say what you think in your own words. Do not post reviews for money, for a business you own or work for, or to take down a competitor.

Be decent. No harassment, threats, slurs or hate. No sexual content. No doxxing: do not post anyone's phone number, address, workplace schedule or anything else that could put them at risk. Do not post photos of people who have not agreed to be posted.

Be lawful. Nothing that infringes copyright, promotes illegal activity, or is spam. No impersonation of people, venues or brands.

Messages. Treat direct messages the way you would in person. Unwanted messages, repeated messages after a block, and unsolicited sexual content get accounts removed.

Reports. Report anything that breaks these rules from the menu on a review, list, comment, message or profile. We read every report. Repeated or serious breaches end in a permanent ban.
